Meet MiLEAP

MiLEAP prioritizes education from birth to postsecondary with a focus on preparing children for kindergarten and helping more people earn a skill certificate or degree to help them get a good paying job.

To accomplish this goal, MiLEAP will mobilize all our resources, both inside and outside the classroom, collaborate with leaders at the local, regional, and state level, and develop a plan that will put every Michigander on a path to prosperity.

Ensuring that all young children meet their developmental milestones and enter kindergarten with the tools and ability to succeed in school.

Higher Education

Ensuring that every Michigander has the skill certificate or degree they need to prosper, and help employers hire the talent they need to succeed.

Education Partnerships

Building and sustaining partnerships that enhance educational opportunities and outcomes throughout the state from preschool through postsecondary education.
