Heart of the Rockies Initiative

We create connections to support and scale private land conservation

Heart of the Rockies is a Regional partnership of 30 land trusts

We support land trusts across the Rocky Mountain West in keeping family farms, ranches, and timberlands in family hands through capacity assistance, collaborative fundraising, data sharing, and networking.

Our Programs

Heart of the Rockies Initiative programs support members, landowners, communities,
partner organizations, and agencies in collaborative conservation.

Keep It Connected

We are a land trust partnership at our core and work on several levels to support land trusts and private land conservation with willing landowners. Our Keep It Connected program connects land trusts with funders who support wildlife connectivity projects.
