In the spirit of the upcoming powwow season….And so it was many years ago during Crow Fair there was a Crow woman who was on her way to Billings to pick up groceries for a feed. As she was driving out of Crow, she ran into a young woman looking for a ride to Billings and offered to bring her along. The young woman had a large bag with her and so the Crow woman asked her what she had, and the other woman said…”I got a new hand drum for my husband” The Crow woman looked at her and slowly replied… “…That’s a good trade…” 😊
