Region 4 Weekly Construction Update
Here at ODOT, we are committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for everyone. We invest in Oregon's future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located within Region 4; Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.
There are two ways to learn about construction taking place for the upcoming week.
1. Visit TripCheck.com. Constantly updated with construction and crash data, TripCheck is the best way to learn about road conditions around the state. Click on a traffic cone symbol on the map to see construction impacts for that area.
2. Scroll down to the counties and highways listed below to see impacts that could affect you. Construction information is shown for one week, giving you the most up-to-date information.
All work is dependent on weather conditions, and schedules are subject to change.
DESCHUTES COUNTY
U.S. 97 and U.S. 20 Bend North Corridor
Travelers will encounter single lane closures on U.S. 97 from Empire to Grandview Sunday night through Friday night.
The ramp from southbound U.S. 97 to southbound U.S. 97B/ Cooley will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday for paving and guardrail installation. Please use detour in place.
The ramp from U.S. 97B (at Cooley) to northbound U.S. 97 will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday for paving and guardrail installation. Please use detour in place.
Crews will be performing cleanup work on U.S. 20 from Cooley to Robal as well as performing excavation, grading, drainage, paving, striping, sign installation, bridge work and cleanup work on U.S. 97 between Grandview and Cooley and Empire.
Grading, flatwork, paving, striping and sign installation at the existing U.S. 97 business park will continue and crews will be performing striping on the existing business parkway.

U.S. 97: Lower Bridge Way - Northwest 10th Street (Terrebonne)
Crews will be performing single lane closures on U.S. 97 from Central Street to Smith Rock Way for trench patching and stripe realignment. Striping on the highway will be back to the original highway configuration. 11th street will be closed Monday for road reconstruction between First Street and Lower Bridge Way. Expect moderate delays on the highway during nighttime hours.
PLAN AHEAD: Smith Rock Way will be closed (except to local access) from 11th Street to 16th Street November 4- December 13. Access to Smith Rock State Park will be maintained during construction with signed detours in place. Click here for more information.

U.S. 97 Redmond to Bend Phase 2
Crews will be working on Gift Road installing the future J-turn. No delays are expected.

U.S. 20: 3rd Street - 15th Street (Greenwood, Bend) Project
Crews will be performing daytime single lane closures on U.S. 20 (Greenwood) between 4th and 12th streets Monday to Friday for sidewalk, signal, and paving operations. Minimal delays expected.

U.S. 20 at Locust Street Roundabout
Crews will be installing concrete sidewalk on the truck bypass. Locust will be closed intermittently until concrete work is complete. Striping on the Highway will be performed Monday and Tuesday night. Travelers should expect up to 20-minute delays on the highway.

OR 126: Redmond - Powell Butte
Crews will be performing trench patching Sunday night on Evergreen from OR 126 to Jackson Street with single lane closures. Expect delays up to 20-minute delays.

CLACKAMAS COUNTY
OR 35: U.S. 26 Overcrossing Bridge (Mt. Hood Highway)
Work continues on-site with crews performing bridge joint seal work and installing striping. Single lane closures controlled by portable temporary traffic signals and flaggers should be anticipated on OR 35.

CROOK COUNTY
U.S. 26 Meadow Lakes Drive – Combs Flat Road (Prineville)
Crews will be performing morning time (4am to 7am) lane closures at Combs Flat Road Monday to Friday for sidewalk, signal, and drainage improvements. Moderate delays are expected.

GILLIAM COUNTY
OR 206: Rock Creek Bridge Project
Work continues on-site with crews performing stream channel earthwork and
bridge work. A 3-week full closure of OR 206 at Rock Creek Bridge (10 miles east of Condon) is currently in place until October 28. Portable message boards are in place informing motorists for the duration of the closure.

KLAMATH COUNTY
OR 140 Brett Way Extension (South Klamath Falls Highway, MP 3.74 - 4.75)

U.S. 97: OR 58 - California Border Project (The Dalles - California Highway, MP 252.44 - MP 278.81)
Link River Bridge at MP 275.03: Work continues at the bridge. Conger Avenue and George Nurse Way are closed to thru traffic, please follow detours in place.

U.S. 97: SCL Crescent - Willamette Highway 58 Junction Section
Crews will be performing grinding and cleanup work controlled by flaggers and pilot car from 7p.m. to 7a.m. Tuesday night through Friday morning. Travelers should expect 20-minute delays.

SHERMAN COUNTY
I-84: US197-The Dalles, Rufus & Arlington Bridges
Crews will be in Rufus installing base aggregate and performing drainage
work associated with the construction of the Rufus crossover. Motorists should anticipate daytime single-lane closures on I-84 near milepost 109, in both eastbound and westbound
directions.

All Roads Transportation Safety (ARTS) Intersection Upgrades Project (U.S. 97 at milepost 120.96 - 121.48
