Region 4 Weekly Construction Update
Here at ODOT, we are committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for everyone. We invest in Oregon's future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located within Region 4; Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.
There are two ways to learn about construction taking place for the upcoming week.
1. Visit TripCheck.com. Constantly updated with construction and crash data, TripCheck is the best way to learn about road conditions around the state. Click on a traffic cone symbol on the map to see construction impacts for that area.
2. Scroll down to the counties and highways listed below to see impacts that could affect you. Construction information is shown for one week, giving you the most up-to-date information.
All work is dependent on weather conditions, and schedules are subject to change.
DESCHUTES COUNTY
U.S. 97 and U.S. 20 Bend North Corridor
Travelers will encounter single lane closures on U.S. 97 from Empire to Grandview Sunday night through Friday night.
Work for the week includes:
- U.S. 20 from Cooley to Robal: Crews will be performing cleanup work.
- Between Grandview Cooley and Empire: Crews will be working on sign installation, flatwork, and cleanup work.
- On the existing U.S. 97 Business Park: Grading, flatwork, striping, sign installation and cleanup work will continue.

U.S. 97: Lower Bridge Way - Northwest 10th Street (Terrebonne)
Crews will perform striping on the highway Monday Night (weather permitting) to put the lanes back to their original highway configuration.
Crews will also be working on the retaining walls on the east and west sides of the highway near Lower Bridge way. Minimal delays are expected.
PLAN AHEAD: Smith Rock Way will be closed (except to local access) from 11th Street to 16th Street November 4- December 13. Access to Smith Rock State Park will be maintained during construction with signed detours in place. Click here for more information.

U.S. 97 Redmond to Bend Phase 2
Crews will be installing center median barrier on U.S. 97 Sunday through Tuesday nights from 7p.m. - 6a.m. with single lane closures in place. Minimal delays expected.

U.S. 20: 3rd Street - 15th Street (Greenwood, Bend) Project
Crews will be performing daytime single lane closures on U.S. 20 (Greenwood) between 4th Street and 12th Street Monday to Friday for sidewalk, signal, and paving operations. No delays expected.

U.S. 20 at Locust Street Roundabout
Crews will be installing concrete sidewalk on the truck bypass. Locust will be closed intermittently until concrete work is complete. No delays expected.

OR 126: Redmond - Powell Butte
Project is mostly complete with the exception of bridge work and in town paving. Work will resume in late February.

CLACKAMAS COUNTY
OR 35: U.S. 26 Overcrossing Bridge (Mt. Hood Highway)
Work continues on-site with crews cleaning up and completing punch-list work. Single lane closures controlled by flaggers may be in place at times on OR 35 and U.S. 26.

CROOK COUNTY
U.S. 26 Meadow Lakes Drive – Combs Flat Road (Prineville)
Crews will be performing morning time (4am to 7am) lane closures at Combs Flat Road Monday to Friday for sidewalk, signal, and drainage improvements. Minimal delays are expected.

GILLIAM COUNTY
OR 206: Rock Creek Bridge Project
Work continues on-site with crews performing paving and striping. The 3-week closure of OR 206 will be lifted on Monday, October 28. Motorists should anticipate daytime single-lane closures controlled by flaggers on OR 206.

KLAMATH COUNTY
OR 140 Brett Way Extension (South Klamath Falls Highway, MP 3.74 - 4.75)

U.S. 97: OR 58 - California Border Project (The Dalles - California Highway, MP 252.44 - MP 278.81)
Link River Bridge at MP 275.03: Work continues at the bridge. George Way is closed to thru traffic, please follow detour in place.

U.S. 97: SCL Crescent - Willamette Highway 58 Junction Section
No work expected this week.

SHERMAN COUNTY
I-84: US197-The Dalles, Rufus & Arlington Bridges
Crews will be in Rufus paving the Rufus crossover. Motorists should anticipate full-time single-lane closures Monday through Friday on I-84 near milepost 109, in both eastbound and westbound directions.
