Region 4 Weekly Construction Update
Here at ODOT, we are committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for everyone. We invest in Oregon's future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located within Region 4; Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.
There are two ways to learn about construction taking place for the upcoming week.
1. Visit TripCheck.com. Constantly updated with construction and crash data, TripCheck is the best way to learn about road conditions around the state. Click on a traffic cone symbol on the map to see construction impacts for that area.
2. Scroll down to the counties and highways listed below to see impacts that could affect you. Construction information is shown for one week, giving you the most up-to-date information.
All work is dependent on weather conditions, and schedules are subject to change.
DESCHUTES COUNTY
U.S. 97: Lower Bridge Way - Northwest 10th Street (Terrebonne)
Crews will perform a full closure of the Lower Bridge Way intersection at U.S. 97 to construct detours for the Project. The closure of Lower Bridge Way will be in affect from April 21st to May 12th. After May12th the intersection will be reopened to right-in/right-out only and there will be no access from U.S. 97 to Lower Bridge Way, please use the signed detour for travel to and from Lower Bridge Way and U.S. 97.
11th Street will be closed from Central Avenue to F Avenue, used signed detour. Minimal highway delays are expected.

U.S. 20: 3rd Street - 15th Street (Greenwood, Bend) Project
Crews will be performing single lane closures on U.S. 20 in both east and west bound directions from 15th Street to 9th Street. Expect minimal delays

OR 126: Redmond - Powell Butte
Crews will be performing single lane closures controlled by flaggers on OR 126, east and west bound while installing guardrail and curb throughout the project from mile point 1.0 to mile point 7.0. Expect minimal delays from Monday through Friday from 7pm to 7am.

GILLIAM COUNTY
OR 206: Rock Creek Bridge Project
Construction of the new bridge is complete. Workers may be on-site periodically completing punch list work items with no impacts to motorists. Paving corrective work is expected in early Summer 2025.

GILLIAM & SHERMAN COUNTIES
I-84: US197-The Dalles, Rufus & Arlington Bridges
RUFUS: Crews are expected to be on-site working beneath the eastbound structure performing work to replace the bridge bearings. Traffic is now in the crossover configuration on I-84 near mile point 109.
ARLINGTON: Crews are expected to be onsite performing concrete repair work and doing some bridge joint preparation work. Traffic is now in the crossover configuration on I-84 near mile point 138.

KLAMATH COUNTY
OR 140 Brett Way Extension (South Klamath Falls Highway, MP 3.74 - 4.75)
Crews will be onsite performing cleanup work, no delays expected to traffic.

Expected completion - August 2025
U.S. 97: OR 58 - California Border Project (The Dalles - California Highway, MP 252.44 - MP 278.81)
Bridge work will take place on the Link River Bridge at mile point 275. George Nurse Way is closed to thru traffic. Please use detour in place.
Sidewalk work is scheduled on Main Street adjacent to the bridge this week. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, expect minor delays.
