Shopping Tips

  • Berries are in season during the summer. Buying produce “in season” often costs less and the produce will be at peak flavor.
  • Frozen fruits last much longer than fresh. Store frozen berries in your freezer to enjoy them year-round.
  • To cut down on added sugars, check the ingredients list. Look for frozen berries that do not have sugar listed in the ingredients.
  • Buy fresh berries when they are in season and offered at a lower cost and freeze the extra to use at a later date.
