Delivering Results: Water for U.S. Farmers
Following high-level U.S.-Mexico talks in April, we secured a deal to boost water deliveries to the Rio Grande Valley, helping U.S. farmers, ranchers, and communities. Mexico has committed to actions to reduce the shortfalls in Mexico's deliveries, reflecting ongoing cooperation under the 1944 Water Treaty.
 Implementation of the REAL ID requirement is less than a week away. The REAL ID Act requires state-issued IDs to meet federal security standards. As of May 7, 2025, you must be REAL ID compliant to access certain federal facilities and board domestic flights in the United States — don't be caught by surprise before your next trip!
