What this job is about
As a Budget Advisor to the Governor, you analyze budgets, make budget recommendations to the Governor and present the Governor’s budget proposal to the Governor, Office of Financial Management (OFM) Director, OFM’s Executive team, state agencies, stakeholders and the Legislature. You are the subject matter expert who analyzes budget requests and develops budget proposals to meet the governor’s objectives.
The Budget division performs an ongoing role in the planning, analysis, and implementation of the state’s operating and capital budgets. We have the primary responsibility for making budget recommendations to the Governor and presenting the Governor’s budget proposal to the Legislature and the public. Learn more: OFM Budget Division
