Inaugural Launch Anticipated by Summer 2026
Your Feedback Requested Today!
The Maryland Energy Administration has concluded its FY25 Program Cycle and has announced its preliminary list of FY26 programs. Please sign up here to receive future updates from MEA, such as announcements on program launches.
Program purpose: Through its Clean Buildings Hub (the Hub) initiative, the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) is developing a technical assistance program for certain buildings subject to Maryland’s
building energy performance standards (BEPS). The Climate Solutions Now Act mandated the creation of the
Maryland Clean Buildings Hub within MEA. The Hub empowers Maryland’s building owners to make well-informed energy investments in their properties by connecting them to financial, educational, and technical assistance.
Request for Information:
The Clean Buildings Hub has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to seek preliminary feedback on the design of the BEPS Technical Assistance Program. The Hub defines technical assistance as targeted support to identify, select or design solutions to build capacity. Please note that technical assistance does not constitute funding for retrofits.
The Hub kindly requests that responses to this RFI be submitted via
this form by
July 31, 2025 at 5 PM. The Hub may continue to receive comments after the deadline, but comments received by this date may be most impactful. Alternatively, if you prefer, you may send your responses to
building.decarbonization@maryland.gov with “BEPS Technical Assistance Program” in the subject line and the questions you are answering clearly specified.
