Greviskes Private Pond Stocking License - Smith Lake; Lincoln, MT EA Checklist FWP-CEA-FSH-R2-25-002

A private landowner is applying for a Private Fish Pond License for a reservoir located at 2920 North Beaver Creek Road near Lincoln, MT. The applicant is seeking authorization to stock weststlope cutthroat trout, brown trout, and brook trout for personal use and enjoyment. The pond was licensed to the previous landowner for stocking with brown trout and westslope cutthroat and both species are currently present in the reservoir.

All species proposed for stocking are present in adjacent waterbodies. Fish stocked in the reservoir are unlikely to escape into adjacent waters because the reservoir outlet enters a screened pipe that terminates in a wetland. Fish are unable to move upstream into the developed spring due to passage impediments.
