We vet and screen all applications, including those of U.S. citizens when they petition for a family member. When this citizen petitioned for his alien wife, his background check came back with many red flags. It turns out he had DOZENS of active arrest warrants from four police departments in Ark.! The warrants were for: ▪️Two thefts ▪️Two DUIs ▪️Driving on a suspended license ▪️Child neglect ▪️25 charges of failure to appear ▪️16 criminal contempt of court charges Fort Smith Police Department arrested him when he came with his spouse to our Fort Smith Ark. office for her Green Card interview. He will now face justice. Our duty to make America safe again goes beyond uncovering criminal aliens trying to access the immigration system.

Marriage fraud is a crime. A Nigerian alien learned this lesson the hard way after attempting to circumvent immigration laws by entering a fraudulent marriage. We worked closely with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and they were waiting to apprehend the alien when he appeared for an Adjustment of Status interview at our El Paso office.

USCIS pieced together key information that helped U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) capture a dangerous high-ranking MS-13 criminal alien and his associate in Omaha.
Meet Rene Saul Escobar Ochoa. He’s an MS-13 terrorist and Salvadoran FUGITIVE wanted for: 👉Ordering gang members to commit multiple murders 👉Extortion 👉Imprisonment 👉Drug trafficking We found him alongside an MS-13 kingpin wanted for FIVE MURDERS and other serious crimes. These two were living in Nebraska within the Omaha community. “Our ICE officers and agents are protecting your neighborhoods, even when you don’t know the threat is there, so either support them or get out of the way.” —Acting ICE Director Todd M. Lyons 📰Learn more about this case and more in our newsroom.

We worked with Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on the recent arrest of a criminal alien from Spain at our Tampa office. During our robust vetting process, we discovered the alien had an arrest warrant for grand theft, 3rd degree. Good moral character is a requirement for naturalization.

Full patriotism on display! On #IndependenceDay2025, 97 people became #NewUSCitizens--including 2 #ServiceMembers--at President George Washington's Mount Vernon . They came from 94 countries and stood united as U.S. Department of Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Edgar led the Oath of Allegiance where each promised to support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger warmly welcomed them saying nothing is impossible in America and reminding them of the limitless opportunity in our country. Many congratulations to our new Americans!
