ODHH partnered with the Department of Licensing to give a presentation about REAL ID. Starting May 7, 2025, REAL ID is required to be able to travel within the US and access certain federal facilities. Using the standard form of ID will not apply anymore.
If anyone has recently gone through a name change or their biological gender marker does not match their current gender marker, what can be done and what other forms of ID would be acceptable for use with travel within the US and accessing federal facilities?
