Top Recall Hazards - 5 Years

Hazard definitions:
  1. Fire - Use of the product may lead to a fire or the product violates federal fabric flammability regulations.
  2. Burn - Use of the product may lead to experiencing burns.
  3. Heat-Related Explosion - The product may explode unintentionally.
  4. Falling - Use of the product may cause an unintentional fall.
  5. Crash - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional crash.
  6. Poisoning - Use of the product may lead to poisoning.
  7. Choking - Use of the product may lead to choking, or the product violates federal toy safety standards, or the product violates federal children clothing standards (drawstrings).
  8. Safety Equipment Malfunction - The safety product does not operate as intended and use of the product may lead to injury or death.
  9. Impact - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional impact that may cause injury or death.
  10. Cuts - Use of the product may lead to unintentional cuts and/or lacerations.

Recall Remedies - 5 Years

Note: Recall Remedy data may change daily to reflect updates to company operating status or recall remedy availability. Recalls with multiple remedies (ex. Repair and Replace) will be counted in each remedy.
  1. Refund - A customer may receive a full or partial refund, or gift card for the recalled product.
  2. Repair - The company is offering a repair to the recalled product.
  3. Replace - The company is offering a replacement for the recalled product in the form of a new product or other products of similar value.
  4. Dispose - The product should be thrown out or recycled.
  5. New Instructions - The company will issue new instructions on how the customer can make the recalled product safe.
  6. Remedy No Longer Available - The recalled product should be thrown out or recycled.

Hazard:

The handheld hair dryers lack an immersion protection device and can cause death or serious injury due to electrocution or shock if the hair dryers fall into water when plugged in. The hair dryers are in violation of federal regulations for hair dryers and present a substantial product hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled hair dryers and contact Legend Brands to receive a full refund. Consumers will be asked to destroy the hair dryers by cutting the cord and disposing of the product. Consumers must send a photo of the destroyed hair dryers to support@shoptrakk.com. Legend Brands is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The hinges on the foldable rear kickstand support leg can crack or break, posing a fall hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled child carriers and contact Deuter to receive a free replacement child carrier. Consumers should fill out the recall form at https://www.deuter.com/us-en/service/kid-comfort-recall, print a prepaid return shipping label, and return the product. Deuter is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

Small amounts of gas can leak from the valve when it is in the open position, posing fire and burn hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Delta-branded Gas Ball Valves and contact Masco Canada to confirm that their product is part of the recall and receive instructions on how to get a refund. Masco Canada will also reimburse the cost of labor to remove the units and dispose of them. Masco is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The tow handle can pinch consumers’ fingertips against the cooler, posing fingertip amputation and crushing hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled coolers and contact Igloo for a free replacement handle.

About 130,000 additional coolers (In addition, about 20,000 in Canada and 5,900 in Mexico) (More than one million Igloo coolers were previously recalled in February 2025)

The peg dolls’ spherical ends can block the child’s airway, posing a risk of choking and death to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should take the product away from children immediately, dispose of the product and send a picture to Babywants for a full refund. Amazon is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The bottom hole on the cable support posts is over four inches from the bottom of the base plate, posing an entrapment hazard to consumers.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the cable railing kits immediately, prevent children from accessing the area where they are located, and contact Vevor for a full refund. 

Vevor will provide pre-paid shipping labels so that consumers can return the recalled cable railing kits. Alternatively, consumers can provide photographic evidence of disposal or destruction of the cable support posts to recalling@vevor.com.

Hazard:

The candle’s glass container can crack or break while the candle is burning, posing a laceration and fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candle and contact DEMDACO for a full refund in the form of original payment. Contact DEMDACO via email at customercare@demdaco.com for instructions on how to receive a refund and pre-paid shipping label to return the candle. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required. Consumers should not return the recalled candles to retail stores. DEMDACO is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The AC power adaptors can overheat and ignite, posing burn and fire hazards. 

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled PA-300C AC Power Adaptor and contact Yamaha Corporation of America for a free replacement adaptor. Visit www.yamaha.com/us/support/pa300crecall/ for instructions to participate in the recall. Consumers will need to submit their information through an online form or by email, and will need to submit evidence of product destruction with their claim. Consumers should not damage their recalled adaptor until they have read the recall instructions online.

Consumers who own a Yamaha-brand Clavinova® digital piano with a recalled adaptor should unplug the piano and contact Yamaha. Yamaha will provide piano technician services to perform an on-site inspection of the piano and provide a free replacement adaptor.

The pressure-cooking lid can be opened during use, causing hot contents to escape, posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the product’s pressure-cooking function and contact SharkNinja for a free replacement lid. Consumers can continue to use the product’s air frying and other functions.

Hazard:

The tea light candle holder can catch on fire, posing a fire and burn hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tea light candle holders and return them to any Kohl’s store for a full refund, in the form of a Kohl’s gift card or in the original form of payment. Kohl’s will provide a pre-paid shipping label for consumers who purchased the candle holders online. Kohl’s is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The strollers pose a risk of death or serious injury to babies due to the entrapment hazard because an opening between the seat and grab bar can allow a baby to become entrapped, violating the federal stroller regulation. In addition, the hand-held infant carrier accessory sold with the stroller travel system fails to meet the markings, labeling, and instructional literature requirements under the hand-held infant carrier standard.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the strollers immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products.

Hazard:

The swings were marketed for infant sleep and have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees, in violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act and posing a suffocation hazard. These products create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants and can cause death or serious injury to infants.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the infant swings immediately and dispose of them. Button cell and coin batteries are hazardous. The battery in the remotes should be disposed of or recycled following local hazardous waste procedures. Do not sell or give away these hazardous infant swings.

Hazard:

The product violates the mandatory federal regulations for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries because the lithium coin batteries in the lights and remote control can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. In addition, the products do not bear the required warnings. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the LED lights immediately and dispose of them in accordance with local disposal requirements. Do not sell or give away these hazardous LED lights.

Hazard:

CPSC testing determined the magnets do not comply with the requirements of the mandatory federal regulation for magnet toys because they contain one or more magnets that fit within CPSC’s small parts cylinder. In addition, the magnets are stronger than permitted and pose a risk of serious injury or death if ingested by children.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the magnetic balls immediately and dispose of them or take them to your local recycling facility. Do not sell or give away these hazardous magnets.

Hazard:

The swings were marketed for infant sleep and have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees in violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act, posing a suffocation hazard. Furthermore, the swings labeled with “Model: WS-HB18-4” violate the mandatory federal regulations for consumer products containing button cell and coin batteries.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the infant swings immediately and dispose of them in accordance with local disposal requirements. Do not sell or give away these hazardous infant swings.

Hazard:

The swings were marketed for infant sleep, and they have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees in violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act, posing a suffocation hazard. The swings also fail to meet mandatory requirements for restraints under federal regulations for infant swings. In addition, the swings violate the mandatory federal regulations for consumer products containing button cell and coin batteries. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the infant swings immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous infant swings.

The lithium-ion battery packs in the vacuums can overheat and ignite whether the vacuums are charging or actively being used.

Consumer Action:

The mattresses pose a fire hazard in violation of federal flammability regulations and a risk of serious injury or death. The mattresses also do not have required labeling.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the mattresses immediately and dispose of them in accordance with local disposal requirements. Do not sell or give away these hazardous mattresses.

CPSC urges consumers to stop using and destroy all Welspo-branded play yards immediately. To destroy the product, first disassemble the fabric cover from the frame. Cut up the play yard cover and mattress pad, and then dispose of the pieces in the trash or recycling.
