The Arlington County Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team will conduct planned training at the property at 1401 Langston Boulevard on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
All training activities will be confined to the interior of the building. Community members can expect to see an increase in public safety vehicles and law enforcement officers in the area. Those traveling near the vicinity of the property may hear noise originating from the building but are reminded that this is a training exercise only.
Realistic training is critical to enhancing ACPD's capabilities and ensuring our officers remain operationally ready to respond to any public safety incident that may occur in Arlington County or the region.
This is a closed training exercise.
Severe weather, including heavy rainfall and strong winds up to 70 mph, will or is occurring. Seek shelter + avoid travel until the weather has passed.
