Lifeline Outreach Grant Program

Overview

The Lifeline Outreach Grant program is a grant program funded by the Universal Service Fund pursuant to Wis. Admin. Code § PSC 160.063 and authorized by the Commission in its Order

The Commission may award up to $250,000 in grants under this program on a fiscal year basis. The Lifeline Outreach Grant Program is currently organized under two tracks: Outreach and Education, and Research and Resource.

Who is eligible to apply

  • Eligible applicants under both tracks are:
    • Non-profit organizations
    • Community-based agencies
    • Political subdivisions, including tribal governments
  • Eligible applicants under the Research and Resource track only are:
    • For-profit businesses
    • Universities
    • Other institutions of higher learning
