This site is for the online application and management of Public Assistance (PA), Hazard Mitigation (HM) and Preparedness (HSGP, EMPG, NSGP) grants. Under the PA program a minimum of 75% of eligible costs is provided to primarily address the repair and restoration of public facilities, infrastructure, or services which have been damaged or destroyed. The HM programs provide opportunities to reduce Virginia s disaster losses through mitigation planning and projects. Preparedness grants support eligible agencies in building, sustaining and improving their capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from and mitigate terrorism and other high-consequence disasters and emergencies. Eligible applicants for these programs include local, state agency, Tribal governments, and certain Private Non-Profit organizations.
