Therapeutic Recreation Office 

Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation is committed to the Americans with Disabilities Act which guarantees non-discrimination and equal access for individuals with disabilities in all programs, services, and activities.  Arlington County's Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Office is committed to providing positive recreation opportunities and experiences for participants with disabilities.

The Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Office provides specialized services for individuals with disabilities in both adapted and general recreation programs. We can work with participants, parents/guardians, and staff to help ensure that supports are in place to promote an enjoyable and successful program experience. Advanced notice for any requests for modifications are welcome.
