Remembering Little Saigon

Explore and Learn about the Little Saigon Area of Clarendon

In partnership with local writer Kim O'Connell, Arlington County's Historic Preservation, the Arlington Art Truck, the Center for Local History.

Join us in recognizing the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon, which led to an influx of Vietnamese refugees settling in the Clarendon neighborhood, turning into what was called Little Saigon. Little Saigon became a vibrant hub of Vietnamese commerce and social activity and reached its peak during the late 1970s to mid-1980s. In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon, come learn about the history of Little Saigon and hear the stories of those whose lives were shaped by it.
