Kirklees Libraries

Kirklees Libraries have public libraries in 24 locations across Kirklees. As a key cultural venue in a local community, we aim to provide opportunities for children and families to participate in and experience high quality cultural activities. We aim to bring to Kirklees Libraries inspiring artists and practitioners, allowing families extraordinary opportunities at low or no cost. We also work with artists to create programmes to support vulnerable children and young people. We start with books, words and reading and develop programmes which explore finding your voice, developing empathy, supporting aspirations or learning a new skills.
