Mobile Crisis Team

To ensure the mental well-being and quality of life of all Culver City residents, both housed and unhoused, on September 19, 2022, the Culver City Council approved the creation of the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT). The MCT launched on March 4, 2024, and provides non-emergency mental health care and support to members of the Culver City community. The MCT responds to mental health crises and provides the necessary support, referrals, and transport to those in need. The MCT consists of a Manager, Mental Health Clinician, Mental Health Specialist, two Case Managers/Dispatchers, and Theodore “Teddie” Brown who is the MCT wellness/therapy dog trained to provide comfort and relief to persons seeking assistance from the MCT.

The MCT operates between the hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. To request a field response or a consultation by the MCT, please call (310) 253-5770.
