About this event

The 3rd Annual Summer in the City 2025 will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at MLK, Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes (OST Office), located in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education, will convene government agencies, nonprofit organizations, families, and other stakeholders to share valuable information about the opportunities that are available to youth in the District of Columbia during the school year. District youth and families will have the chance to hear directly from approximately 60-80 partners about different programming, learning experiences, jobs, internships, and more. This event is hosted by the Learn24 network which supports and advocates for high-quality afterschool and summer programming for all school-aged youth in the District.

District Families can expect to gather resources about:

  • Summer and Out of School Programming
  • Summer Jobs and Internships
  • Learning experiences
  • Fun activities to participate in while out of school this summer.
  • and more
