    This lot consists of items listed on the attached spreadsheet. Viewing is highly recommended. Condition is used, parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. It is highly recommended that you inspect the vehicle before bidding. Deficiencies when known have been added to the item description. The absence of any deficiencies does not mean that none exists. Successful bidders should contact the custodian prior to removal for specific building and loading policies. Bidders must comply with all building rules and policies during the removal process. Successful bidders and/or their agents are cautioned that they are responsible for packing, loading, and removing any, and all property awarded to them from the exact place where the property is located.

    The following provisions supersede the Online Sale Terms and Conditions which you accepted when you first registered. By submission of your bid on this auction, you hereby agree to the terms and conditions of this auction including these amended provisions:

    This auction is subject to the following provisions:

    • These items are subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 C.F.R. Parts 120 through 130);
    • Bidders must be a U.S. Citizens to participate in this auction; and
    • Bidders must not be listed on the Department of Commerce's Denied Persons List, Department of State's Debarred Parties List, as well as the Excluded Parties List System.

    If the successful bidder designates a third party removal agent to remove the property, the successful bidder must:

    • (1) Declare under the penalty of perjury that they are a U.S. citizen; and
    • (2) Send the attached Declaration of citizenship notarized by a Notary Public to NASA 48 hours prior to removal.

    At the time of removal, the successful bidder and/or their third party removal agent will be required to show the following documentation:

    • A current and undamaged U.S. Passport; or
    • Two forms of identification to include (1) proof of U.S Citizenship in the form of a certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or State; Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth (Form FS-240, FS-545 or DS-1350); or Naturalization Certificate (Form N-550 or N-570) or Certificate of Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561), and (2) proof of identification in the form of a Government or State issued photo ID.

    When bidding, bidders must read & accept the U.S. Export Control Certification.

    Only people who are either U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) are allowed to inspect or collect surplus personal property at NASA's Glenn Research Center (GRC).

    If you successfully bid on items, you are responsible for removing them from the GRC premises and you cannot throw them away in the trash bins on site.

    Inspection Requirements:

    • Appointment: Contact property disposal personnel at 216 433-2127 to schedule property inspection or property removal appointment. 24 hour notice is required prior to inspection/removal to obtain a visitors pass.
    • Required Documentation: All visitors must have valid government issued identification with photograph.
    • Inspection Address/Time: Report to NASA Glenn Research Center’s main gate promptly at 1:00pm to be escorted to the inspection site.

    Inspection will not be permitted if any of the above requirements aren’t met.

    Other Inspection/Removal Information:

    • All property inspections are visual inspections and those participating in the property inspection will not be permitted to touch or move the auction property or take pictures of the property or any of the contents inside of the disposal property warehouse.
    • Pallets are not included with sale items.

    Property Location Information:

    The inspection will be held Wednesday, November 27 at 1:00PM EST by appointment only. Please contact the custodian melissa.a.solon@nasa.gov to schedule an appointment to inspect property. Two forms of ID are required one must contain a photo. A 24-hr notice is required for badging and escorts.

    Inspection and Removal Information:

    You must contact the custodian before inspecting property or removing property after award. You must comply with all building rules and policies during inspection and removal. Access to some federal facilities may require a Real I.D. Please refer to www.dhs.gov/real-id-public-faqs (external link, opens in a new tab) for more information on the Real ID Act.
    Successful bidders are cautioned that they will be responsible for loading, packing and removal of all property awarded to them from the exact place where the property is located, as indicated below.
