    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS #1: PROPERTY IN THIS SALE MAY ONLY BE SOLD TO U.S. ENTITY. U.S. CITIZENSHIP OF BUYER/RECEIVER MUST BE PROVEN PRIOR TO ANY REMOVAL. ALSO, ENTRY ONTO BASE FOR INSPECTION AND REMOVAL MUST BE BACKED UP WITH PROOF OF U.S. CITIZENSHIP BEFORE ENTRY IS ALLOWED.

    NOTE #1: All bidders/purchasers must have a visitors pass. You MUST set a FIRM date for inspection & removal. It generally requires 72-hours for clearance before your name is placed on a list and held at the Gate. If your name is not on the list, you will be denied entry. Missing your appointment may result in difficulties when trying to gain access at a later time. Inspection & removal are allowed between the hours of 7:00AM and 3:00PM only. Bidders/purchasers are reminded that property must be removed within 10 days of award and appointment can be made by contact Mr. VanScoy.

    NOTE #2: Inspection is encouraged and strongly recommended. Items are SOLD AS IS. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Condition of property is not warranted. Deficiencies, when known, have been indicated in the property descriptions. However, absence of any indicated deficiencies does not mean that none exists. Therefore, the bidder should ascertain the condition of the item through physical inspection. Please review the Inspection of Property clause in the online Terms and Conditions prior to placing a bid!!

    NOTE #3: Successful bidders are cautioned that they are responsible for packing, loading and removing any and all property awarded to them from the exact place where the property located, as indicated on the item description page for each item that they purchased on the GSAAuctions website. They will make all necessary arrangements and perform all work necessary to effect removal of the property. Custodian will not provide equipment, personnel, or assist with moving and loading of property at the time of removal.

    The following provisions supersede the Online Sale Terms and Conditions which you accepted when you first registered. By submission of your bid on this auction, you hereby agree to the terms and conditions of this auction including these amended provisions:

    This auction is subject to the following provisions:

    • These items are subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 C.F.R. Parts 120 through 130);
    • Bidders must be a U.S. Citizens to participate in this auction; and
    • Bidders must not be listed on the Department of Commerce's Denied Persons List, Department of State's Debarred Parties List, as well as the Excluded Parties List System.

    If the successful bidder designates a third party removal agent to remove the property, the successful bidder must:

    • (1) Declare under the penalty of perjury that they are a U.S. citizen; and
    • (2) Send the attached Declaration of citizenship notarized by a Notary Public to NASA 48 hours prior to removal.

    At the time of removal, the successful bidder and/or their third party removal agent will be required to show the following documentation:

    • A current and undamaged U.S. Passport; or
    • Two forms of identification to include (1) proof of U.S Citizenship in the form of a certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or State; Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth (Form FS-240, FS-545 or DS-1350); or Naturalization Certificate (Form N-550 or N-570) or Certificate of Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561), and (2) proof of identification in the form of a Government or State issued photo ID.

    Only people who are either U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) are allowed to inspect or collect surplus personal property at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

    If you successfully bid on items, you are responsible for removing them from the JPL premises and you cannot throw them away in the trash bins on site.
