Ivd been riding trimet since I was 13 and in all this time (I'm 32 now) well the last 4 years the green line gets nothing but hate it's always late. They always park at the end when they are driving just one train so if your at the other end you better start running just to make it it should park in the middle and you know they can see you running up to it and they still drive off but no or be waiting at gate way it will say 5 min then 40min go by and the people who work from trimet and are walking around act like they know nothing even if you just over heard their walkie talkie saying why they will still say they dunno l. I have worked customer service most of my life if I did just one of the things most of the drivers, people who walk around, 🚶‍♂️ ,

Thank you for all the hard work you do transporting people around the metro area. I appreciate being able to step out of my car and driving mindset and have you take me where I need to go. I’m heading home now, landing at PDX in a few hours & just have to take a short walk to Max to finish my journey home.

THANK YOU FOR BEING THE MOST AWESOME BUS DRIVER EVER!!!

On Feb 13th, during the snowstorm while driving RT.72, he managed to get to my stop early while both buses in front of him were running behind. He is an exceptional driver. Goes above and beyond in helping customers. Treats everyone with respect. Every time I’ve been on his bus he is a class act. Always kind, genuine, friendly & eager to help. Always has a positive attitude. His compassion is admirable. I once witnessed him stop the bus when he saw an older gentleman out of breath & struggling to get to the bus stop. He told him to take as much time as he needed. He was kind & respectful in the way he spoke to him & waited patiently. I was impressed. Genuinely cares about people & the work he does. I will forever be amazed how anyone can safely navigate a bus full of people, deal with traffic, remain on schedule (even during a snowstorm!) pickup, drop-off, being helpful & friendly to everyone while remaining calm. I don’t think even Superman could do that! Thank you for your hard work and dedication. It shows. You are deeply appreciated. You're amazing at what you do. The world needs more people like you!

Once I watched the line 6 driver take something from a woman after he’d been talking to her and what I assume was her teenage son. It was an untied tie. He put it around his own neck, tied it, took it off, and put it on the boys, helping to adjust it. I’ll never forget that moment.

On Feb 13th, the bus driver of the 20 out of downtown saw me hurrying in the snow and waited for me.

A simple act right? Sure.

But to me, it was huge, I had just made the decision to euthanize my 17 year old cat at Dove Lewis as her cancer had progressed to end stage.

I was cold and sad and this act helped me get home slowly and safely. I wish I had gotten the bus number . Thank you driver. I hope you see this.

As someone who has been in multiple car accidents (as driver and as passenger) and loathes being behind the wheel, thank you for 20 years this year of getting me safely to and from classes, jobs, events, and the homes of my friends and family. A huge shoutout to the drivers of bus 54 in particular, as the bus I've taken 3 to 5 days a week for 15 years! While I do my fair share of grumbling when there are hiccups, it's always with the background knowledge that Trimet is one of the best, if not THE best, public transportation system in the country, and anyone who says otherwise has not taken public transit enough in other states You've also got some some of the KINDEST bus drivers, too. Thank you for all you do for us, for all you endure, and for keeping the city moving!
