This week, we joined Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) in New Orleans to celebrate the 40th annual AMAC Airport Business Conference. For decades, the event has championed advocacy, education, and networking, creating endless opportunities for AMAC members to shape the aviation industry.   This year's theme, "Honoring Our Past, Forging Our Future," was particularly special as AMAC recognized those who have played a pivotal role in the organization through the years and those committed to its future. It was a chance to celebrate not only our many long-time partners in attendance, but also our colleagues who have demonstrated their leadership within AMAC.   Please join us in congratulating Vice President of Business Development and member of AMAC's Board of Directors Bridget Biagas, honored with three prestigious awards: AMAC's Advocate of the Year Award, the President & CEO Award, and a Women in Aviation Trailblazer.   AMAC also celebrated Shelby M. Scales, Vice President of Strategic Alliances, as a past president and CEO of the organization, a role she held from 2011-2016, during which she helped to move the industry forward, creating many opportunities for minorities and women.   Thank you to AMAC and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) for bringing together over 1,500 airports, businesses, decision-makers, thought leaders, and government officials for this wonderful event. Today we are proud to celebrate one of the best ACDBE partners in the business, Onsite Retailers, named a 2025 ACDBE of Distinction by Airport Experience News.   In the June 2025 issue, AXN writes that a chance seating assignment next to a Hudson executive so many years ago helped Onsite Retailers blossom from an industry newcomer to a veteran concessionaire. Today, Onsite Retailers manages about 30 brands across dozens of locations in 11 airports.   Derryl O.
