Today Attorney General Dana Nessel recognized Detective First Lieutenant Steve Temelko of the Michigan State Police for his over 25 years of outstanding service to the people of this state, including his leadership on the department’s Focused Organized Retail Crime Enforcement (FORCE) Team.

This morning, Attorney General Dana Nessel kicked off Face Addiction Now’s Community Partner Summit by talking about our department’s success securing more than $1.8 billion in opioid settlement dollars to support treatment and recovery programs across the state, like FAN.

#PurpleHeartDay honors those who have received the Purple Heart medal. This is our military’s oldest honor for merit. This medal is given to service members who were wounded or hurt killed in combat. #HonorVeterans

DAG staff recently attended The Grand Rapids Red Project Gala to show our support. It was a great opportunity to share how we are working to address harm reduction and substance abuse. We are grateful to work alongside so many committed advocates who are working to make our communities safer and healthier.
