Falls are still a leading cause of workplace fatalities across industries and are the No. 1 cause in construction. This week, Deputy Secretary Keith Sonderling joined more than 1,800 workers, employers and other stakeholders for OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls at a construction site in Bethesda, Maryland, to help get the word out on safety best practices.
