Falls are still a leading cause of workplace fatalities across industries and are the No. 1 cause in construction. This week, Deputy Secretary Keith Sonderling joined more than 1,800 workers, employers and other stakeholders for OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls at a construction site in Bethesda, Maryland, to help get the word out on safety best practices. We’re committed to making sure all of the workers building our great Nation come home safe at the end of the day.
