Thanks to efforts from our Fresno team and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), three criminal aliens are off our streets! Their crimes included entry into the U.S. without authorization, arrests for child cruelty, multiple DUIs, arrests for battery, possession of drugs, and theft. All in a day’s work to make America safe again.

Coming to America and receiving a visa or green card is a privilege. Our laws and values must be respected. If you advocate for violence, endorse or support terrorist activity, or encourage others to do so, you are no longer eligible to stay in the U.S.

USCIS played a critical role in a federal investigation resulting in the indictment of two Texas residents for their alleged involvement in a large-scale immigration fraud scheme. Our efforts with support from Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Justice put an end to a visa fraud scheme involving fraudulent applications that allowed foreign nationals to unlawfully enter and remain in the U.S. https://lnkd.in/e22ewcrh

A convicted murderer thought he could lie his way through the system to legal status here in the U.S. and avoid the consequences of his criminal past. He even lied about his lies! USCIS Chicago worked with Department of Homeland Security to apprehend an alien from Bulgaria with a criminal arrest warrant from Florida for fraud-related offenses. USCIS conducts thorough background checks for all applicants and coordinates with federal, state, and local law enforcement if any active warrants are found.

In April, a federal grand jury in Central Islip, New York, indicted a Long Island man for immigration fraud after a joint investigation uncovered his concealed role in the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Read more:
