Social determinants and built environment workgroup

Goals:
Increase equitable access to healthy food options in the underserved populations of Macomb County.
Increase access to safe, affordable and equitable housing in Macomb County.

Objectives

  • By December 2028, prevent food insecurity from rising beyond 2021 levels (10.5%).
  • Decrease the percentage of renters spending 30% or more of their income on housing from 48.2% to 45.0% by December 1, 2028.

Meeting dates and times

This group meets the last week of January, March, May, August, and October. Meetings are either virtual or in person.
