We're replacing this bridge that is in poor condition.

In May when we return to apply permanent striping, you can expect intermittent single lane closures with flaggers helping direct traffic.

When we return in May, you can expect:

Crews working during the day.
Intermittent single lane closures.
Flaggers helping direct traffic through the single open lane.
Construction noise and delays.

Construction Activities

We'll apply permanent striping when we return.

Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work!

Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

The Little Humbug Creek Bridge is more than 60 years old and is located on U.S. 26. The bridge is deteriorating and its foundation is in poor condition. Bridge Picture

We are replacing the existing bridge with a new single span bridge.

We are:

Replacing the bridge.
Replacing guardrail.
Paving and applying new striping to the bridge surface.
