Winter Warming Spaces Close Until Next Winter

As the winter season comes to an end, Ramsey County's Winter Warming Spaces have officially closed. The spaces provided a safe and warm place for individuals in need, operating nightly from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. from December through March 31, 2025.

Ramsey County recognizes that the need for safe shelter does not end with winter. The County remains committed to supporting individuals experiencing housing instability through various year-round programs and resources. If you or someone you know needs assistance, contact the Shelter & Diversion team at 651-266-1050.

The Winter Warming Spaces served as a critical resource for community members facing harsh winter conditions. They offered seating, blankets, warm beverages, light snacks, and  when available, winter warming supplies such as gloves and hats. Additionally, free transportation to and from the spaces was available, ensuring accessibility for those in need.

As Housing Stability prepares for the next winter season, we remain grateful to our community partners, staff, and volunteers who helped provide warmth and care to those in need
