What is Adventure Club?

Adventure Clubs are state-licensed,  school-age, childcare facilities operated by the City of Roseville in conjunction with the Roseville City School District, Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District and Center Joint Unified School District.

Adventure Club provides a safe, caring environment for the elementary school-age child. Age-appropriate activities which are designed to meet a child's social, physical and intellectual needs are offered under the guidance of trained personnel.

Adventure Club childcare sites are located on school campuses at Roseville City School District, Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District and Center Joint Unified School District. Non-school days and vacation breaks are available too.

Adventure Club continues to take advanced measures to prioritize the safety of children and staff while attending the program. We have enhanced cleaning protocols, increased health & safety measures, we are promoting more social & emotional learning. Questions may be directed to Parks, Recreation & Libraries Adventure Club Office via telephone at (916) 772-PLAY (916-772-7529) or email at AdventureClub@roseville.ca.us.

Preschool

Preschool is a wonderful place for your child to explore, learn, and have fun. Adventure Club and Preschool are part of the City of Roseville’s Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department. Our mission is to enhance lives and the community by providing exceptional experiences. Our vision is to be the leader in creating a healthy community through progressive, sustainable, and memorable experiences.

Our purpose is to provide a safe and caring environment for both Adventure Club and Preschool children.

  • Preschools classes are held in our Adventure Club buildings located on, or near school campuses throughout the City of Roseville.
  • Preschool classes use the restrooms located on the school campus and are always accompanied by a staff member.

  • As most of our campuses are near clean and safe City of Roseville Parks, we often visit these parks and take advantage of the fresh air, open space and play structures.

  • Pre-K and Preschool have small class sizes, often smaller than private preschools, to provide more 1-on-1 care and attention.

- Pre-K classes enroll 18 children, with 2 teachers at all times.

- Preschool classes enroll 16 children, with 2 teachers at all times.

For more information, please view our FAQs and Preschool Handbook (found under the “Handbooks, Guides & Resources” tab).
