In summary
  • The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on a proposed partnership arrangement between City of York Council (CYC) and York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (YSFT)
  • We believe that this partnership arrangement is the most effective way to provide the best sexual health service to the residents of York within the budget.
  • Until we have done this we cannot enter into this legal agreement.
  • Yorsexualhealth service will continue to provide contraception, STI treatment, an outreach service and work with the most vulnerable in our community.
  • We will continue to offer the best service we can and will consult on any major changes to the service as appropriate.
  • A report with the findings will be published on the City of York Council website.
