ROCK CAVE, W.Va. (WV News) — The Biden-Harris Administration has announced a $2 million investment to expand early morning, night, and weekend hours at community health centers across West Virginia. Among the recipients is Community Care of West Virginia in Rock Cave, awarded $500,000 to enhance healthcare access for underserved populations.

Community Care of West Virginia

This initiative, spearheaded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), aims to improve care accessibility for patients who struggle with traditional business-hour appointments due to work, child care, transportation, or other challenges. Expanded hours will enable residents to receive medical, mental health, substance use, and pharmacy services at more convenient times.
