Draft Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2025 - 2030
Update
The consultation for the draft Joint Local health and Wellbeing Strategy 2025-2030 has now closed. Thank you to those who have participated. The feedback will now be analysed and the draft strategy refined, and presented to the West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board on Thursday, 10 July 2025 for formal approval before being published on the West Sussex County Council website.
Introduction
Please tell us what you think about the West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board's (opens in new window)(External link)(External link) draft West Sussex Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy, which sets out the overarching plan for improving health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities across the county.
You can do this by completing our survey below. Everyone in West Sussex, including young people, professionals, and local organisations, is invited to take part and have their say.
The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
Using the latest evidence, the draft strategy identifies the challenges and needs of people and communities in West Sussex and presents the Board’s vision and five priority areas:
- Food and nutrition
- School readiness
- Transitioning to adulthood – children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing
- Tobacco control
- Health and wellbeing in temporary accommodation
The five priority areas identified reflect some of the wider factors that impact our health, such as our homes and the food we eat. By focusing on them collectively, the Board feel these are the areas they can have the most impact and make a real difference to people’s lives.
