Join the Interpreter Shortage Resolution Taskforce. Legislative Report Due June 2025: The taskforce will provide a detailed report on systemic barriers faced by Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing communities to the Governor’s Office by June 2025. Create a more inclusive and accessible community. Morgan Jericho Leading Taskforce: Morgan Jericho, Program Analyst 4, has been appointed to lead and facilitate the taskforce meetings, monitor activities, and support data collection. Help identify challenges and propose solutions. Community Collaboration: Morgan will collaborate with community members and leaders across Washington state to address interpreter shortage issues and develop comprehensive solutions. Together, we can make a difference. Program Coordinator Position Update: DSHS is revising the program coordinator position to better support Morgan’s work with the taskforce. Get involved today!
